Aquatix Swimming Training is seeking a dedicated and skilled Coach to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning and delivering high-quality coaching sessions to our swimmers.
Coaches Role:
- To plan and deliver a high standard of coaching to the Aquatix Squads.
Main Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivery of sessions for the Academy, Development and Performance Squads, or any other squads as directed by the Head Coach.
- Planning and delivery of sessions for the school swim squads as applicable.
- To record swimmers’ attendance on registers and share with the relevant member of staff.
- To deliver suitable sessions in line with the vision and philosophy of the Head Coach.
- To encourage swimmers to enter competitions as per the competition calendar set by the Head Coach.
- Attendance at competitions.
- Setting swimmer targets and communicating areas of development. Reviewing these regularly.
- To attend school galas with any partner schools.
- Reviewing the squad programme at your venue and to feedback to the Head Coach regularly.
- Proactively communicate with swimmers, parents and staff.
- To deal with enquiries and communication from parents in a professional manner. Escalate complaints if required.
- Attend meetings as required and to lead site meetings alongside the site lead.
- Develop good working relationships between learn to swim staff and the coaching team.
- To attend staff training and CPD sessions.
- To lead staff training at your venues for Aquatix staff and for the relevant school staff.
- To take bookings and payments and record them appropriately.
- To plan learn to swim lessons following the Aquatix Learn to Swim curriculum.
- To deliver safe swimming lessons to swimmers of all ages and abilities in a professional manner.
Other Responsibilities:
- To represent Aquatix in a professional manner within the school setting and build working relationships key school staff.
- To have an awareness of, and to adhere to, company policies and procedures at all times.
- To assist Aquatix with the running of competitions where needed.
- To represent Aquatix at any event that is deemed necessary by the Aquatix Management Team.
Qualifications:
- Certified Swim Coach with a recognised Swim England qualification or an equivalent.
- Previous experience in coaching and swim teaching, preferably with children and young athletes.
- Being proactive, having good administration skills and having a passion for swimming are a must.
- Current lifesaving certificate - RLSS/ Highfield.
- Driver's license required.
