Swim England confirms dates for 2024 open water national events

Swim England has confirmed the dates for its 2024 open water competitions.

Two national events will be held in the last weekend of July.

First up will be the GoCardless Swim England Open Water National Age Group Championships on Saturday 27 July.

Only 24 hours later, the GoCardless Swim England Open Water National Masters Championships will be held.

The venue for both the age group and masters championships has yet to be confirmed.

Sheffield’s Rother Valley Country Park hosted both competitions in 2023.

Wycombe District were named the best club at the age group championships earlier this year for a fourth successive year, having won three golds during the event.

The masters competition was cancelled due to a medical emergency.
