Speedo Swim Squads in Dubai is seeking dynamic Swim Teacher Coaches to plan and deliver engaging lessons, support high-quality programs, collaborate with schools, and ensure a positive, energetic environment. Certification, experience, and a proactive, creative attitude are required.
Job Description:
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Lessons: Plan and deliver swim lessons in accordance with the swim program's framework, maintaining records of attendance and achievement.
- Teach/Coach: Teach and coach to your qualifications, including correct demonstrations, encouragement, motivation, and appropriate differentiation of practices within classes.
- Venue Support: Assist Venue Leads with high-quality swim program delivery, including bookings, payments, school relations, and customer service at assigned venues.
- Program Support: Aid in the planning and delivery of learn-to-swim and training programs, ensuring alignment with our development pathways and schemes of work.
- School Support: Collaborate with partner schools to deliver curriculum and squad programs.
- Skill Workshops: Support skill workshops and continuous professional development programs for club and school partners.
- Event Management: Help plan and manage swim events and galas for the club and external schools.
- Engagement: Engage with students and parents, providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive, dynamic, and supportive learning environment.
- Marketing: Assist in the marketing and promotion of swim programs.
- School Collaboration: Work within schools to support Physical Education teachers with curricular swim lessons and train school swim squads.
- Administration: Assist with the administration and running of Swim Squad swim meets and other specific programs or projects.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all programs and activities.
- Staff Meetings: Attend weekly staff meetings and update the main office with program delivery details.
- Policy Adherence: Adhere to Club Policy, Child Protection policy, and Ethics code, maintaining high professional standards.
- Health and Safety: Address Health and Safety issues through Risk Assessment and Management, reporting immediately to the main office.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a highly presentable, professional, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
Qualifications:
- Certified Swimming Teacher and Swimming Coach with recognized qualifications.
- Previous experience in swim teaching, preferably with children and young athletes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a fun and energetic learning environment.
- Passionate about swimming and inspiring others.
- Creative mindset with the ability to design innovative lessons.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Driver's license required
