Redwood Trophy

Trafford claimed the Redwood Trophy at the 2008 British Synchro Champs. The Northern club were lying second behind Rushmoor after the Tech Routine but leapfrogged them with a score of 67.500 for their Free Routine.

Rushmoor landed double gold again in 2011 to win the Redwood Trophy, scoring 69.620 in the Free Routine and 67.500 in the Tech.

Rushmoor scored the biggest combined Team total in recent history at the 2012 British Synchronised Swimming Championships. They retained the Redwood Trophy on 140.6800 after scores of 67.600 and 73.080 in the Tech and Free Routines respectively.

Rushmoor completed a hat-trick of consecutive titles by lifting the Redwood Trophy again in 2013. They topped the podium for both Technical and Free Routines to finish on 137.9300.

Bristol Central returned to the top of the pile in 2014, winning both the Tech and Free routines to lift the Redwood Trophy.

The ASA National Synchronised Swimming Championships saw City of Bristol defend the Redwood Trophy with victories in both the Technical and Free Routines in Gloucester.

The battle for the Redwood Trophy went down to the wire at the 2016 National Synchronised Swimming Championships. City of Bristol carried a 3.6 point lead over Rushmoor from the Technical Routine. But they held on to the Redwood Trophy by the narrowest of margins as Rushmoor scored 70.7667 for their Free Routine, with Bristol edging ahead overall with their score of 67.5333.

Reading Royals ended a long wait to reclaim the Redwood Trophy by sweeping the Tech and Free routines in 2019, also landing the Free Combination and both Duet events in a dominant weekend in 2019.
