Search coursesIt is recommended that anyone who comes into contact with children either at a Swim England club or in swimming lessons expands their knowledge of safeguarding and how to respond to any concerns.
Those that are working directly with young or vulnerable people, such as teachers or coaches need to complete the Swim England Safeguarding in Aquatics course and refresh their knowledge every 3 years so they can recognise and deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively, should they ever arise.

This eLearning refreshes your knowledge and includes important updates on legislation, mental health and self-harm. You must have gained your Swim England in Aquatics Safeguarding certificate within the last three years to complete this refresher.
